PELVIC HEALTHCARE FOR PREGNANCY, POSTPARTUM & MOTHERHOOD - IN YOUR HOME

Because motherhood is physically demanding, ever-changing, and deserving of real support — not vague reassurance or rushed appointments.

This care is designed for moms who want more than reassurance — they want guidance, support, and a plan.

You may be a good fit if you are:

Pregnant and..

  • Dealing with pelvic, hip, or low back pain

  • Feeling pressure or heaviness

  • Struggling with mobility as your body changes

  • Considered high-risk and needing activity modifications or extra support

Preparing for or healing from birth and…

  • Planning a vaginal birth and worried about tearing

  • Preparing for a VBAC

  • Having a scheduled or possible cesarean

  • Wanting to understand pushing, positioning, and how to protect your pelvic floor

  • Wanting an early assessment and guidance after vaginal or cesarean birth

  • Unsure what’s normal during healing

  • Looking for support beyond “wait six weeks”

In motherhood and…

  • Learning how to move, lift, and care for your baby without pain

  • Experiencing leaking, heaviness, pain, or bowel changes

  • Wanting to rebuild strength safely

  • Hoping to return to exercise or fitness with confidence

  • Wanting to feel capable and supported in your body again

If your body has changed because of pregnancy or birth — and you want care that helps you adapt, recover, and rebuild — this is for you.

THE BENEFITS OF IN-HOME CARE

Your care, where life actually happens.

• No childcare needed
• No rushing out the door
• No guessing how exercises apply to real life
• More comfort, privacy, and consistency
• Movement, lifting, feeding, and recovery in your real environment

When care fits your life, recovery becomes possible.

With a whole-body approach to care - support your changing body through the real challenges of pregnancy, support your body through birth and care for it gently afterward, and rebuild strength and confidence for the life ahead.

I think home visits are important because they help you to feel comfortable and they are easier to fit into a day, especially with a newborn. You were so flexible about my baby being asleep in the room (so we whispered) or being very awake (que the exercises which involve the baby) which took a lot of pressure off finding the “perfect time” to have a home visit. It also helped to motivate me after the visit - it was MY couch we practiced doing hip lifts on, it was MY desk chair I held for stability, it was MY pillow I used for cushion. It helped a lot that I was learning where I was practicing - in the home with tools I already had. I am so grateful for home visits!

Meet Ryan !

Hi, I’m Ryan Bailey. I opened Expecting Pelvic Health because I kept hearing, “why didn’t they tell me?” from moms.

Pregnancy and postpartum change everything — your body, your identity, your routines, your strength. And yet, most women are told to just “bounce back” without real guidance or support.

Even though the research is clear — pelvic floor physical therapy should be part of routine care — our culture treats this essential support like a luxury instead of the standard, dismissing when leaking, pain with sex, heaviness, or core weakness as “normal.”

That’s not okay. You deserve more.

You deserve care that sees the full picture: your pregnancy experience, your birth experience, your healing process, your physical symptoms, your mental load, and your day-to-day life with a new baby.

That’s why I bring evidence-based pelvic floor therapy to you — in your home, on your timeline, and designed around your goals. Whether you’re still pregnant and preparing for birth, or weeks, months, or years into postpartum wondering if what you’re feeling is normal… I’m here to help you feel strong, confident, and connected again.

This isn’t about bouncing back. It’s about moving forward — with care that meets you exactly where you are.

In an age where medical professionals don’t usually make house calls, it can feel strange having a stranger in your home. Not so with Dr. Ryan. She made us feel so comfortable right away! We learned so much and I wish I had known about her sooner. The process of booking her was smooth. She is very knowledgable. Info she shared was effective immediately. She was very responsive, friendly yet professional, and understanding. This is a MUST not a luxury. Thank you Dr. Bailey!!!
